Good food and great service! We came in for lunch on Friday afternoon to a pretty busy restaurant. My boyfriend eats kosher and the server was very accommodating in checking that the fish sauce and other ingredients for the dishes we ordered worked for him. We had the salt and pepper wings, pho tai, and banh xeo. The wings were pretty big and the serving was probably 6 wings? Filling on their own. My boyfriend liked his pho and mentioned the quality of meat was really good. The banh xeo was a touch oily but delicious nonetheless. I'd come back next time I was in the area!

I got dinner here on a weekday and had a good overall experience! My family told me this was one of their favorite pho places in San Diego so I had to check it out. We got the egg rolls to share which was delicious. I also got the bun Bo hue which was a large serving and came with beef and pork including some meatballs. The noodles however were a bit overcooked so they were softer and broke into pieces easily. Other than that, the food was yummy and definitely filled me up. Will be back soon!

Really great service by Lu (?). I stopped by for a quick early dinner after the gym and thank goodness the restaurant had plenty of a/c. There was plenty of seating in the large restaurant. I've eaten here before when it was very busy. This visit I tried: Pork Paste Rolls $6: - $3 per roll seemed ok. I requested the rolls without the crunchy fried rice paper inside. The rolls are made fresh to order and served with a side of their warm dipping sauce. It was a nice appetizer HOUSE SPECIAL COMBO $14.50: - Grilled pork, chicken, shrimp paste in bean curd skin, pork rinds and steamed meatloaf . The pork and chicken tasted dry. The shrimp paste in bean curd was best part as it was freshly fried and delicious. Pork rinds were a good portion and enjoyable Lu would stop by and make sure all was good. You pay up front once you're done so it's a quick process. I'd be back if I was in the area.

If you're looking for an authentic pho place, THIS is your spot! I'm always skeptical of Vietnamese spots, due to the fact that I can get a lot of Vietnamese food homemade, but this place definitely hits close to home. The ambiance in this restaurant is modern and pretty fast paced. We immediately got sat down when we got there, and they took our order pretty quickly. We both got pho and a banh xeo to share! I was absolutely AMAZED by the banh xeo. It's usually not my first choice, but this was one of the best banh xeos that I have ever eaten. The crepe part was crunchy, it came out hot, and the flavors coming together with the nước mắm was incredible. Really recommend getting the banh xeo! The pho was really good as well. The broth was aromatic, and with adding the greens in, the pho was still at a hot temperature. They give you a decent amount of meats with the pho as well. Overall, this place was great!

I was pleasantly surprised after eating here. The restaurant is big and spacious so we got seated quickly. I've always heard this place was good, but wanted to try for myself and it sure didn't disappoint. They had a lot of options for Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered the shrimp and chicken vermicelli noodles and let me just tell you, the marination on it was so good. And we also ordered the chicken pho, normally places give you dry ass chicken breast, but this bowl had a mix of both light and dark meat. The broth was also very well seasoned. We will definitely be back to try their banh xeo and other options!

Honestly, my friend told me that there are few pho places that have an expanded menu that can reflect more of true vietnamese cuisine is like, and she said that this place has that added value. We got to try Ban Xeo, Bun Bo Hue, which are both dishes I now realize I can't find in some pho places around San Diego. The food was so delicious, specifically the packed and freshness of the ban xeo!!! This is a must try especially if you have folks to share it with. Additionally, I would also opt for pho here over other items on the menu (like the rice or noodles) just because the broth was DIVINEEEE. In general, the price point was average. The interior design was slightly elevated past what I'm used to when going to eat pho. The service was just about as normal as you would expect at a pho place! Best one in Convoy for sure!
